Clean the Manga Shop Guides

Three guides, one per real player question: how the game works, how to organize a shift, and what its cosmetic rewards are.

The whole game in one paragraph

Clean the Manga Shop! is a tidying puzzle game by Janitors Studios (released July 27, 2026, servers of up to 12 players) inspired by "Librarian: Tidy Up the Arcane Library". The shop floor starts buried in dropped manga; you pick volumes up, read the maps, category signs, and shelf nameplates to learn where each belongs, and organize every volume on its respective shelf. Shelving earns upgrades and unlockable abilities, the clock is always running, and leaderboards score how fast and completely you clean — solo or with friends. That loop is genuinely the whole game, which is why these guides are short on fantasy builds and long on the details the official record actually documents: controls, sorting method, planning, and the cosmetic catalog.

Checked 2026-10-03 against the official Roblox page and its public game record; the sources page lists every reference.

The guides

Pick the page that matches your question

Each summary tells you what the guide covers and when to open it — no filler chapters, because the game does not have filler systems.

Beyond the guides

Support pages that answer the rest

Tools and status pages that plug the gaps the three guides deliberately leave to their own routes.

Reading order

New to the game? Read them in this order

Each guide assumes only what the previous ones teach, so a new player can read top to bottom and enter their first server already knowing the shop.

1. Controls first (How to Play)

Pickup, drop, cycle, and ability keys are muscle memory you want before the clock starts, not during it. Two minutes with the control table saves a dozen mid-shift fumbles.

2. Vocabulary second (Shelf Finder)

The ten documented labels are the game's category language. Pre-reading them means the first nameplate you meet is a review instead of a puzzle.

3. Then the plan (Shift Planner)

With controls and vocabulary in place, an ordered checklist turns a chaotic floor into a route — solo or split across a full 12-player server.

4. Cosmetics last (Rewards)

The catalog rows are end-shelf material: nice to know, but they do not change how a shift plays until the creator documents an earning flow.

Method

How these guides are written

The same three rules produce all of them, and they explain what you will not find here as much as what you will.

Official record first

Every mechanic named in these guides — the loop, the control bindings, upgrades, abilities, co-op, the clock — appears in the game's official description. When a guide hits the edge of that record, it says so instead of crossing it.

Method over magic

A tidying game rewards repeatable habits: read, batch, drop, re-plan. Guides teach the habit and the reasoning behind it, so the advice survives updates and different shop layouts.

Dated and correctable

Guides carry the 2026-10-03 check date, and the update watch says when a changed listing invalidates them. Found something in game that contradicts a page? The contact route exists for exactly that.
